We encourage all of our members to become actively involved in the running of the club - it's your club and we would like you to participate wherever possible. We are currently in the process of establishing the Sandlanders as a genuine Ghanaian co-operative. This will mean that your membership will grant you a legal share of ownership in the same way that Barcelona fans co-own Barcelona. In the meantime we will be developing the following features on the site to allow you to have your say:

Online Voting

We will have regular votes on many aspects of the running of the club which will enable you to have your say.

Members Player and Goal of the Month Awards

As the site develops members will be able to vote each month for a Player and Goal of the Month.

How should the club move forward?

We are just starting on our 5-year plan which we hope will lead to the top of African football. This is a unique opportunity for a club just starting on its journey to pool the ideas of its members on how we should progress. What sponsors should we approach? How long should we hang on to our best players? Would a Sandlanders Academy be a step in the right direction? We would want to hear from you on these and many other issues.

Who should we sign?

Team selection will be handled by the Coach but we are always on the look out for new players. You will be able to watch the video highlights of our games and if you spot some talent on the pitch let us know, if there is clear support for a particular player we will make every effort to bring them to the club.

Team Kit

Members will be given a range of designs to choose from and will also be invited to submit their own designs a month before the decision is made.

Forums

The forums will always be open for members to make any suggestion they choose on how the club should be run. We are always happy to hear the opinions of our members concerning any aspect of our development. The forums will also be used to allow members to communicate with the players and Coach, regular webchats will allow you to quiz the Coach and ask questions of your favourite players.

Development Projects

As we have explained the club is firmly committed to the wider development of the Keta area and we welcome any suggestions as to how this development should proceed. £1 of every membership fee is invested in the community (half of which will be donated to Afrikids) and if you have any ideas as to the kind of community scheme you would like to see supported please let us know. We will regularly update members on the progress of these schemes through the monthly e-newsletter and we will consult members on their preferred beneficiaries.
