We have included some video highlights below of the first of our recent games against Border Rangers of Aflao. The Rangers made it to Middle League this year and victory for the Sandlanders over the 2 legs (we won the away game after this 2-1) promises much for the upcoming season.

Video clips such as this will be a regular feature of our new and improved site. When we begin our next campaign, highlights, pictures and a report will be posted here for each game.

This game was the first of our pre-season friendlies and as a consequence the new Sandlanders Coach (an ex Togoloese international who we will feature in a special article in the coming weeks) chose to trial a number of new players from the outset. 

The Rangers took an early lead following some sloppy defending but we pushed on and Tibo came close with a shot from over 20 yards.

Sandlanders equalised soon after however following a good move and an excellent cross, both the cross and goal were supplied by Togolese trialists who impressed on the day.

We continued to apply pressure in the second half and introduced some of our more established stars. Ivorian striker Evrard 'Agogo' Quarshie came on and made an instant impact as you can see from the clip below. The Sandlanders will be looking to Agogo for goals this term.
