UPDATE: Abor took the lead after just 3 minutes but Sandlanders equalise through Ambrose Etsey in the 56th minute. The result leaves us with 5 points from 4 games but results elsewhere (including Platnum FC defeating Ketu United 1-0 today) mean we are still in the hunt for Middle League qualification. 4 of our last 6 games will be at home.

Sandlanders slip to their first defeat of the season away at Ketu United. We are only 3 games into the 10 game league season but the return match with league leaders Ketu already looks important.

A goalless draw with New Generation in Keta leaves us with 4 points from our opening 2 games. Edmond Debla's disallowed goal was the closest Sandlanders came to breaking the deadlock in front of a healthy crowd for the first home game of the season. A reasonable return so far but there will be tougher tests ahead in our quest for qualification to Division 1.
